Otter Jabu makes a swing bed and is enjoying a quiet snooze when he is interrupted by Talking Drum. A little Dung Beetle has been washed into the river and needs rescuing. Jabu sets off to find the beetle and comes across a happy singing otter who turns out to be just right animal to help complete the mission.
