Japan, Part I (Sendai, Fukushima)

It all starts with a train ride from Tokyo, taking him north into the mountainous interior. From there we head to the ski resorts of Zao and Appi, before heading south, finishing the first leg of the trip in the tsunami-devastated region of Sendai.
