Ernie Biscuit

Ernie Biscuit is a depressed deaf taxidermist whose life has grown dull and dusty. One day a dead pigeon turns up on his doorstep and convinces Ernie to fulfill his dream of riding a gondola in Venice. Ernie and his pet Duck Edith wind up in the backwaters of Australia, penniless and homeless. A kind chef, Tiny takes them in and gets Ernie a job. Ernie saves up to get home and falls in love with a blind lady, Angeline. All seems well until Tiny’s true nature and intentions are revealed.
