It! The Terror from Beyond Space

Space ship lands on planet and picks up killer Alien which wreaks havoc on the space ship. This b&w is low-key, atmospheric, and highly stylistic, the expressionism of the creature is terrific. One of the best science fiction movies of its time and certainly a reflection of the culture of the 50’s.
