The Prowler

Very tense film noir with Van Heflin doing a remarkable job as the sinister and creepy ’prowler’ cop on-the-make with Evelyn Keyes. He insinuates himself into her life is masterful, she’s vulnerable and vaguely dissatisfied with her less than exciting husband. A down and dirty masterpiece.
